You might say I'm 12 days tardy to cover the May Showcase of Survival Horror Games, I would just say that I'm fashionably late for the party. Welcome fiends, your Control Freak, Inkarnate trades in the game controller for hosting duties as he weighs in on this collection of trailers brought to you by #TheHorrorGameAwards The release of Horror Game promotion is always a welcomed sight and if the recent run of Gaming Events has taught us anything, with the exception of Action Titles, Survival Horror is the only game in town. This Showcase has Game Trailers from (of course) Survival Horror release from May 2024, but also for the months ahead. A huge shoutout and special recognition to the men behind The Horror Game Awards for putting this together, bringing fans of the genre together, and making this a monthly event for gamers to look forward to.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
