Shoutout as always to #TheHorrorGameAwards not just for their celebration and spotlight of our favorite genre, but they noticed a gap in the field and a itch that needed scratching so they said out loud, collectively, in one united voice, "to hell with it, we'll make our own Gaming Awards Show". I, for one, believe the industry is better for it. We'll have a look back at the last 12 months of the calendar year to scope out, evaluate, and honor the spooks that the industry managed to scare up and the spirits that developers managed to raise. From the indie scene to AAA Horror, from spiritual successors to remasters, 2024 certainly had everything for a gamer to want. I for one am looking forward to seeing what the Awards Show has to preview for the year to come. The Horror Game Awards are always keen to provide both old and new, what has passed and what's to come so I'm eager to sample the Trailers for Survival Horror 2025.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
