Seemingly releasing out of nowhere, #TheForeverWinter made quite the impression with gamers and Horror Fans. Its popularity appeared to surge despite its status in Early Access. It even caught the interest of your Control Freak, Inkarnate. You know me, I'm always up for what's down in Survival Horror and in all candor, this game should not appeal to me. In what could've been another post apocalyptic shooter, the ingredients that this game has managed to cobble together feel like a fresh coat of paint on a well-worn genre. Playing as a scavenger, scrounging what you can from a wartone scorched Earth, you must be stealthy in your rummaging to avoid the war machines still patrolling the skies and surface of the badlands of corroded cities. Lumbering giants and hovering drones are every bit a constant threat as hunger or enemy scavengers. Aesthetic merges with gameplay to deliver a fresh take on a familiar premise.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.

Highest grossing, ya say? Original, ya say? I don't know what's worse, that they post these bold face lies because no one will question them or that evidence contradicting their narrative is readily available. Stop glazing #Sinners already
