Those who slip between the cracks find themselves lying flat on their backs. Poor baby sister Deb. As she finds herself drifting ever further from her family, we as a captive audience are delving ever deeper into the sorted history between Detective Harry and Darkly Dreaming Dexter. The Code of Harry has been established and with each passing episode, Dexter shapes his ritual into a finely tuned procedure. A sacrament fit for his sacrificial lambs orchestrated by hands as steady as a surgeon. Week after week, it has been genuinely thought provoking to see how Dexter and Harry have bonded over his evolution into a vigilante. The show has gone the extra mile of also treating us to what amounted to the days and events that would lead up to Dexter becoming born in blood. With more and more cases coming Homicide's way and Dexter front and center at crime scenes under the tutelage of Miami Metro, he's got a balancing act before him to excel at his job while allowing the criminal underworld just enough leeway to literally getaway with murder and find themselves on Dexter's table.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
