Alas, 2025. Another Horror Film, another disappoint. Sorry Horror Fans, this flick might be a missing's persons case, but as far as Inkuisitor General, Inkarnate is concerned, the only thing that's lost is the plot. This film had so much going for it: positive buzz, excitement, anticipation, mystique... all squandered. Possibly the worst part of this film is how all the ingredients are there for a great movie, it was just the execution that was lacking. A case of vanished children upon a town as well as the whodunit element and, more importantly, what is behind all of this horror was effectively spoiled by back to back detours from the story. When the film later veered back on track, the later reveals that should have delivered a master stroke instead felt ineffectual. This year seems to be utterly cursed for Horror films as does leading lady Julia Garner which is very unfortunate. For a film so hotly anticipated, it cooled off rather quickly and left the audience out to dry.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
