Welcome Horror Fans, to the latest cash grab in the Alien Franchise. As a follow up to last year's in-universe rip-off, Romulus (!), we're now treated to Alien the TV Show. And since continuity means nothing, just like how Alien Romulus took place between Alien and Aliens, this film is set before the events of the original Alien. In case, all of this isn't convoluted enough, here's another red flag - apparently, the Alien will have to share screen time with 4 other extraterrestrial threats... on its own show. If it isn't apparent already, I am not looking forward to this show, nothing about it sounds appealing, whether it's the premise or the timeline, and much like aforementioned 2024 side sequel, I think we're in for more overrated tripe. The cast and further fixation on AI and androids serve to further distract from the storyline and movie monster, and the looming threat of an AvP revival, with this creative team is daunting to say the least. Sadly no matter how loudly I warn of this coming dread, No One Can Hear Me Scream.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
