A Predator film from the perspective of the titular monster, an obvious movie tie-in with a Weyland Yutani android, an awful CGI rendition of classic monster that forgoes the iconic practical effects - what's not to like? In the spirit of its origin film, Prey, #PredatorBadlands has gotten caught in the targeting sights of your Big Game Hunter, Inkarnate, and frankly this quarry seems like anything other than a trophy kill. From the comedic tone to the digital effects, the rehashed plot of a Predator beginning to learn how to hunt to the extraterrestrial beasts its set to target, the only thing that's clicking here is the countdown timer to my self-destruct weapon. Listen in as I skin this trailer alive and string it up as a warning for all other movies to come, especially from this series not to mention its distant cousin franchise the Alien.

Inspector Inkarnate is on the case of the missing children from #WeaponsMovie & has just pinned his prime suspect
What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
