Even with Spring in full swing, leave it to your Horror Host, Inkarnate to count the clouds over the silver linings. There has been a slew of Horror News and it just so happens to center around Remakes from every corner of the genre. We've got book adaptations, TV Revivals (and slayings), games going Hollywood, games getting resurrected, even games getting redemptions. While the focus should always be on what's new and original, it's still my job to report on the news of reboots and let you be the judge:
Mike Flanagan's The Mist
Ryan Coogler's X-Files
Faces of Death 2026
Buffy Reboot get Slayed
Uwe Boll's Alone in the Dark (again)
Resident Evil 3 Last Escape
The 7th Guest Remake
The Rocky Horror Show hits Broadway
The Thing Remake (?)

Inspector Inkarnate is on the case of the missing children from #WeaponsMovie & has just pinned his prime suspect
What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
