Before anyone comes after me, Look, I think it's a great thing that we're getting both #LeeCroninTheMummy and #BrendanFraser #TheMummy4 Something new, something old. The Mummy genre is an untapped resource within the Horror genre as far as I'm concerned. However, there are some seedy types operating behind the scenes of both that I fear may attempt to capitalize on both properties. If both endeavors are to succeed, they must fire on all cylinders not get bogged down by opportunistic charlatans gumming up the works. With Lee Cronin's project, it's our old friends Blumhouse that are desperate for a win after an abysmal 2025 that I worry may exploit this film's success to perhaps relaunch their Universal Monster Movies. For Brendan Fraser's return to the franchise, it's the posers at Radio Silence that I'm worried aren't up for the task. Listen in on my thoughts and let us hope that my fears are unfounded.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
