Hope you're suited and booted because on tonight's Mind Games, we're firing Live Rounds. At long last Gears of War comes to the LiveScream. We've got the demo to the Emergence Day prequel and we're taking no prisoners. In order to take two steps forward, sometimes you have to take a step back. Well this franchise has taken 2 steps back with its last mainline sequels so here's hoping that the upcoming prequel has the right stuff to bring the series back from the brink. Your Ctrl Freak Inkarnate is here to journey through the world of Gears when the mysterious and violent Horde first swarmed the land to declare all out war on humanity. Their numbers flooded the land like a swarm of Locusts and their calamity was of biblical proportions. But we have the means of fighting back, and I intended to.

Inspector Inkarnate is on the case of the missing children from #WeaponsMovie & has just pinned his prime suspect
What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
