I gave this film the only chance it deserved by merely watching it and it was every bit as shallow as I figured it would be. Even if you go in expecting nothing, the sheer theft of other movie's ideas and uninventive jump scares aren't enough to muster an audible groan of discontent. With the exception of undercooked big bad, everything about the movie is spoiled in the trailers. The exposition heavy dialogue proves the movie doesn't trust itself to tell an engaging narrative or its audience to catch onto the story it's trying to tell. The makeup of its ghouls is underwhelming, the movie resorts to loud sounds and body horror to illicit any kind of reaction from the audience. The personal connection that the protagonist unwittingly has with the lead villain should've been a major twist, but ultimately falls flat. Neither the plot, the scares, or the characters lives up to the acting of the two leading ladies. This is one franchise that needs to be laid to rest.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
