Once upon a time... that's how all the fairytales start don't they? Well, my Soul Survivors, your Ctrl Freak, Inkarnate's got a bed time story not to give you a restful sleep, but one to keep you up. How's about a twisted, dark fairy tale for a change? Set in early Victorian England at an eerie orphanage, we assume the role of Lana Benton. She is investigating the disappearance of her best friend. Her search will lead her into the realm of a mysterious kingdom of Corolla, a land ruled by the sinister Mr. Kyn and other terrors from beyond. Can Lana safely traverse the two worlds long enough to learn the dark truth behind her friend's vanishing? Hand drawn in the animation of classic Disney cartoons, the art style alone makes this a game worthy of Mind Games. It's dark fantasy elements leave me anticipating the month ahead for its LiveScreams. We're in for the stuff of Nightmares.

Inspector Inkarnate is on the case of the missing children from #WeaponsMovie & has just pinned his prime suspect
What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
