Of the many zombie documentaries I have seen, this one was the most sobering and had something to say, and even, teach. I was intrigued to see that the 3 most prolific Zombie films were paid more than lip service during the documentary. I won't pretend to be an expert on the voodoo religion, but it was a point of interest hearing how the faith has been relegated to the occult just because it inspired the locals to revolt against the French occupation of Haiti. The documentary recounts the beginnings of voodoo when it was brought to Haiti from Africa during the slave trade. The origin of the zombie was as a mindless worker tasked with tilling the land to farm sugar cane. One shambling step at a time, through literature and adaptation (for better and worse), we see how the modern concept of the Zombie took shape and the truth behind the depictions.

Inspector Inkarnate is on the case of the missing children from #WeaponsMovie & has just pinned his prime suspect
What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
