#80-61
We've all enjoyed films that give us a "day in the life" scenario for our protagonist, but how about a Horror movie countdown that gives us a "slice of life" of a genre. Your Horror Host, Inkarnate is of course talking about Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie Moments and our continuing Watch Party of the countdown. In celebration of this miniseries' 22 Year Anniversary, I wanted to dedicate a Mind's Eye Theater as a pre-game for Halloween. The best part about the countdown is it tackles the entirety of the genre:
1920's Silent Era,
1930's Black & White Universal Classics,
1950's Alien Invaders and Atomic Age,
1970's Thrillers and Killers,
1980's Practical Effects,
1990's Slashers
and so on.
So sit back, grab you some popcorn and soda pop, because this is the Nostalgia Trip we can all get behind.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
