Breaking free of the mansion only led us into the streets of Raccoon City with the clock counting down to the city's demise in nuclear fire. So now we take one step back and one step to the side. We've now entered prequel and spinoff territory with #ResidentEvil Having wrapped up its first trilogy, the series hopped a train to Horror and joined the likes of Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen as they fought even earlier variants of Umbrella abominations. And in our continuing world tour, Resident Evil Code Veronica took us to the Antarctic facility with the franchise siblings Chris and Claire Redfield to confront a dark reflection of their bond. For now we look through a glass darkly.

Inspector Inkarnate is on the case of the missing children from #WeaponsMovie & has just pinned his prime suspect
What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
