If the #ResidentEvil license has proven one thing, it's that even with the mainline entries and sequels, the spinoffs allowed for more than just iteration, but experimentation. One forgets that with the many numbered entries in the franchise as there were that there were also side stories as well. On tonight's Retrospective, we'll be tracing the history of the series in even more spin off territory than the last: we'll be looking into Resident Evil Gaiden, Mobile, Survivor, Umbrella Chronicles, and Outbreak. If this franchise analysis proves one thing it's that Resident Evil will never die, and there's more lore to explore.

Inspector Inkarnate is on the case of the missing children from #WeaponsMovie & has just pinned his prime suspect
What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
