#20-1
Of monsters and madmen, of witches and werewolves, of Horror and history. All good things must come to an end. We've tackled many an instant classic and foreign film. This trip down memory road have treated us to the many walks of life (and death) that Fear Fiction has traveled. Even for a docu-series as old and well trodden as this one, it's still fun guessing which film is coming up next and arguing with the screen over rankings that I don't agree with. It isn't just that these touchstones of film and fear make the list but that listening to the legends of Horror praise these hallmarks of cinema is what allows these movies to get their just due. This is the final stretch so the only thing left to do is to enjoy the countdown because on our way to #1, things only get scarier from here.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
