A waking dream and a living nightmare, a perilous present and a twisted tomorrow. At last playthrough, Mr. Kyn took on the appearance of an own in a rain coat with janky movements as he stalked me throughout the mansion. He looked every bit like a Pennywise variant wearing a Georgie raincoat (creepy stuff). Regardless, through the time travel mechanic (oh yes) and a little help from Raiders from my Twitch Chat, I was able to manage an expansive puzzle solving which required stealth, backtracking, time travel, and a keen eye. Now I'm ready to continue the fairytale gone mad at the Orphanage. The moments of whimsy have reminded me of this game's Disney roots and the sinister enemies have given me a jolt to say the least. Bye Sweet Carole's chase sequences and well performed jump scares are well handled, but I remain vigilant enough to pick up the control and trudge ahead. Whether wading through black forests, scouring courtyards, or skulking through the hallways of the Orphanage, terror may wait ...
Inspector Inkarnate is on the case of the missing children from #WeaponsMovie & has just pinned his prime suspect
What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
