Scorched Earth is traditionally the endpoint of a conflict, a last resort of a bitter clash, and a method of mutually assured destruction. This story opens on that scenario. On the war-torn planet of Sera, fresh off of a devastating near-80 year war, humanity fights a darker more sinister enemy that has driven them to the brink of extinction. This invading force came not from the heavens but from the Hollow, beneath the planet's surface. So hostile was this occupying army that they decimated one fourth of the surface population in just their opening attack. They are the Locust Horde, a terror of biblical proportions. The only hope for the planet is the standing resistance that survived both the Pendulum Wars and Emergence Day, the Coalition of Organized Governments, better known as the COG. One of its veteran soldiers, Dominic Santiago just busted out a friend and one of the COG's finest soldiers, Marcus Fenix from solitary confinement. Together, with fellow Gears Damon Baird and Augustus "The Cole Train" Cole, they make up Delta Squad and this elite infantry makeup mankind's last best hope against an army of monsters.

Inspector Inkarnate is on the case of the missing children from #WeaponsMovie & has just pinned his prime suspect
What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
