For anyone who's ever hated their line of work and avoided on-the-job training, imagine if your rookie profession involved a manhunt for madmen where your best chance at catching a monster was through the help of another. This is the story of young FBI cadet, Clarice Starling. Her first assignment is to garner the help and trust of a notorious cannibal in order to profile a different breed of killer. The serial murder on the loose may not be as bad as Dr. Hannibal Lecter, but the fact remains that Buffalo Bill is walking free and the Cannibal is in captivity and the FBI has to use every asset available to them. Billy Boy has been abducting young women and skinning them for some dark purpose. When a senator's daughter is taken, this kicks the manhunt for Bill into high gear and high profile. The ever crafty Hannibal takes advantage of the Bureau's desperation of cracking this case to simultaneously get inside Clarice's head and out of custody. With the clock ticking before another body is found, it's up to Clarice to navigate a case that was more than she bargained for as she tows the line between two notorious serial murderers.

What an utter waste. This is what I get for being optimistic. With the exception of the animation, Predator Killer of Killers botches its premise and potential literally from the jump. From its aggressively annoying girl boss Viking opener, to its episode conclusions, to the end fight, to that surprise (?) closing scene, the disappointments were aplenty. It's almost impressive how this movie squandered so much that it had going for it. All this animated feature do was further embarrass the Predator when it had the opportunity to re-establish how dangerous this species really is. The way this movie portrays what should be recognized as the lead character, you would think that the humans are the superior race. Considering what a fail this film was, as an entry in the Predator franchise, as animated feature with a gripping plot, especially as an anthology, this paints a pretty bad picture for what director Dan Trachtenberg has in store for us later in the year with Predator Badlands.
